Hey everyone! I've been struggling with severe acne for a while and my dermatologist prescribed me accutane. However, the local pharmacy is quite pricey. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations regarding buying accutane from an online pharmacy in the USA?

@HealthySkin4Life - I'd be very cautious about getting accutane through online pharmacies. It's a powerful medication and should only be obtained via legitimate channels with proper oversight from healthcare professionals. Have you considered asking your dermatologist for any financial assistance programs or discount options?

@HealthySkin4Life - I totally understand the cost issue, but safety is paramount here. Accutane has serious side effects and shouldn't be taken without proper medical supervision. I'd suggest discussing this with your doctor before making any decisions.

@DrSmoothie @ClearSkin89 - Thanks for the advice! I am definitely considering these points, but the cost is a real concern. Is there perhaps an online pharmacy that you would recommend which is FDA-approved and trustworthy?

@HealthySkin4Life - It's important to ensure any online pharmacy is legitimate and authorized to dispense accutane, a medication with significant risks. You can verify the legitimacy of an online pharmacy through resources like the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) website which lists verified pharmacies under the VIPPS program.

@HealthySkin4Life - @DrSmoothie is right. Stick with reputable online pharmacies that have clear contact information and are licensed to operate in your state. Remember, you should only buy accutane from a pharmacy after presenting a valid prescription from your doctor.

@HealthySkin4Life - Just to add, your dermatologist should be able to guide you through the process. They can also help negotiate lower costs or suggest alternative treatments that are more affordable. Good luck!
